Sales Account Manager

Following exceptional growth and two recent acquisitions we are looking for exceptional people to join our awesome team across all departments.

We are looking for Promotional Merchandise Sales Account Managers based at our Head Office address in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.

Purpose: To gain knowledge and experience in all the below

  • This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business.
  • To provide the customer with an efficient, helpful, friendly, customer service.
  • To provide accurate quotations immediately and give best advice on branding methods.
  • Meet and surpass the objectives, standards of performance and targets reasonably set by the Company.
  • Ensure through accuracy and efficiency that the customer service levels are maintained at all times.
  • As a small company, the position requires a great deal of flexibility on your part which may require you to help out in other areas of the business.

Responsibilities/Main Tasks

  • Generate business from new/existing customers and build long lasting relationships.
  • Identify and contact key decisions makers.
  • Identify and up sell additional products/services within target customers.
  • Manage internal customer database and ensure all records are current and updated .
  • Operating in a highly dynamic target driven environment and successfully delivering targets consistently in a highly competitive market place.
  • Bringing added value to the sales division and prepared to input new ideas and directions in which the company can progress.
  • Processing of quotations to orders, generating CRM, completing actions, requesting artwork, passing to Sales Administration. Liaising where necessary with all other departments.
  • Day to day processing of enquiries generated over the phone/via email/web enquiries etc.
  • Manage prospecting and follow up.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • To provide follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided.
  • To communicate courteously with internal and / or external customers by telephone, email and face to face, building positive relationships, investigating, responding to and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion.
  • To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues.
  • To ensure that a good level of understanding and knowledge of organisations products and services, which is improved and maintained at all times, ensuring that customer queries can be dealt with accurately and appropriately and supported by the department.
  • To take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives.
