An Audience with David Cameron

On 4th February at 4pm Lloyd Simpson M.D was invited to an audience with David Cameron (Prime Minister) and George Obsourne (Chancellor of the Exchequer) but as you would expect, with security at an all-time high, the event's location wasn't disclosed until 1 hour before.

The event was held on 5th February at 12 noon, organised and coordinated by the largest business networking community in Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Mafia, and held at the AQL headquarters in Leeds.

Addressing over 400 delegates, Mr Cameron and Mr Osbourne leanched their 'Economic Plan For Yorkshire', announcing investment in Trans-Pennine road and rail, broadband and IT infrastructure and congratulated the region on hosting last year's Tour de France Grand Départ.

It was fantastic to be so close to both politicians, they delivered an extremely interesting and polished speech. However, as anybody who has ever travelled on the M62 will agree, regardless of what they propose to do in terms of expansion and improvement, it always ends in gridlock. Let's hope the proposed rail link of HS3 helps... and soon!
