Yet again another merchandise nightmare has hit the headlines this morning. As a Chinese souvenir supplier has made a ‘right plonker’ out of themselves by making a spelling mistake on over 10,000 teacups, mugs and plates which were to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.

The memorabilia that was produced in China to be sold in British stores, might have been designed by Del Boy himself, as instead of stating ‘The Platinum Jubilee’ the products actually read ‘The Platinum Jubbly’.

Firstly, this was nothing to do with us and what’s more, we believe it never would! As an ISO9001 accredited company, we follow a 4-point procedure that we apply for all orders no matter how large or small.

1. Your account manager will discuss your artwork with you and find out exactly what you want it to include.

2. Our in-house design team produce an artwork visual for your approval, which shows your design/logo, the layout and the colours which it is to be printed.

3. This will then be sent for you to check over and give your written approval. Only once this is done and you are completely satisfied will we send your artwork to our print department.

4. Our final check is conducted by our in-house print team who do a final quality control check before your products are even printed.

This process gives you total peace of mind that any Promotional Merchandise and Corporate Clothing you order will be simply ‘Lovely Jubbly’ and meet our high standards.
